WAVE by Strikers is the high‐performance (HP) stream within CVVC, designed for top-level athletes who demonstrate commitment, strong capability, and an ambition to train and compete at the highest provincial / national levels. This program is ideal for those who want to push their game beyond the standard club season and are ready for advanced training, leadership roles, and elevated competition.

What you’ll experience:

• Elevated training schedule (extra sessions, strength & conditioning, advanced tactical systems, mental performance, positional specialisation).

• Participation in elite tournaments, provincial championships, and potentially national-level competition.

• Coaching from our most experienced staff, mentorship opportunities, and an environment powered by high expectations, accountability, and peer excellence.

• Focus not just on on-court skills, but off-court habits (nutrition, recovery, leadership, sports psychology) to develop complete athletes.

When & Commitment:

• Try-outs often include HP evaluation; younger athletes may be invited based on potential.

• Requires full-season commitment, frequent practices, travel, tournaments and additional costs associated with HP level programming.

• Athletes and families should be comfortable with the commitment level and embrace the culture of excellence, continuous improvement and club values (aligned with Safe Sport and Volleyball BC standards).

If you’re unable to commit fully this year or choose to take a step back:
We understand that HP might not be right for every athlete at every stage. Alternative pathways remain open:

• Join our Competitive 13U-18U program, or remain there until you’re ready for HP.

• Speak to our Coaches about “Red-Shirt/developmental” roles for HP-track athletes who need a bit more time before full-commitment.
  This ensures you maintain motivation, growth and inclusion without being locked into too much too soon.
