As the Comox Valley Volleyball Club continues to grow, we are seeking committed individuals to join our Board of Directors. Serving on the board is an excellent opportunity to help shape the future of the club and strengthen the sport of volleyball in the Comox Valley.

Board Member Responsibilities:

  • Attend in-person board meetings and contribute to decision-making.
  • Support the development of club policies, programs, and long-term goals.
  • Act as ambassadors for the club within the community.

To be considered, please submit an Expression of Interest including:

  1. Full Name and Contact Information.
  2. A short bio (200–300 words) outlining your background, skills, and interest in serving on the board.
    • This bio will be included in the official slate of candidates distributed in the AGM packet.
  3. A statement (2–3 sentences) about what you hope to contribute to the growth of the club.
  4. Please indicate whether you are a parent/guardian of a player that played last season in one of our programs, or if you are applying as a Community Member (no child in a program).

Important Dates:

  • Deadline for Expressions of Interest: We will be accepting nominations from the floor during the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
  • Annual General Meeting (AGM) & Election: October 23, 2025
